Fresh mountain water, craft brewing and a team full of great ideas; breweries don’t come any better than this.

There’s something about fresh mountain water and craft brewing that gets us a little excited, especially after hours out on the bike.

You have no idea how happy we were to realize that our first watering hole on this Bright/Mt Beauty adventure was going to be the iconic Bright Brewery. We got thirsty before we were even in the saddle.

This place is set up to keep you entertained for hours. They've built a great deck area that overlooks the river and playground, so if you've got the kids you can let them run riot while you grab a table and settle in doing a taste test of all the beers on offer.

Earn that beer riding the Mystic first

If the weather is not on your side then inside there’s a bunch of comfy couches by the fireplace, and plenty of big tables for groups to spread out.

The innovative team at Bright Brewery has developed a range of Mountain Crafted beers as well as a ‘Brewer’s Choice’, which basically keeps changing. There’s also cider, local wines, locally roasted coffees, drinks for the kids and a top menu with delicious lunch and dinner meals (don’t get our team started on the Angus Beef burgers – they’re still dreaming about them!) that won’t disappoint, and are guaranteed to go beautifully with the brews.

But don’t take it from us. James Davidson from the Brewery was good enough to let us in (right into the actual brewing area) to find out more about this most excellent spot. By the way – a big thanks to all at Bright Brewery for letting our Mountain Bikers crash and film their reviews outside, versus in the rain! Much appreciated.

A big thanks to Handcut Productions for some of Ric’s fantastic footage in here!
