As a triathlete Luke Durbridge couldn’t really swim, so switching over to pure cycling seemed like the right thing to do. Smart move. Durbo’s been a part of the Orica-GreenEDGE team racing as a pro cyclist for four years and counting.
World tour level cycling for Durbo can be easily summed up with one word – suffering.

And although his biggest vice is red wine, the craziest thing he’s ever done on a bike is ride naked. We should have asked more questions at this point…
We check in with Durbo to find out more about the lad from Perth who became the first rider to win the Australian elite men’s road race and time trial titles in the same year (2013) before racing in his first Tour de France last year.
